We all know that humans can make some strange food choices. While some good humans would prepare yummy food like the Greenies humans, some humans eat citrus and oranges and these smelly stuff that have no interest. My human also loves chocolate. Chocolate! But we kitties cannot eat chocolate!
Granted, my human did try and bake for us. Sometimes it was good. Sometimes it was so-so.
But sometimes, when humans bake for themselves, it’s plain meh!
The past weekend, my human decided to bake what she calls a Tiramisu Buche. We didn’t know what it was so we decided to investigate.
Well, guess what? Not only did we not taste what mascarpone was – although it did look like something quite good – but she sprinkled the buche with… yes, you guessed it! Some kind of chocolate powder! Oh, the humanity!
I mean, look at this!! Doesn’t it look plain meh?
So, when she tried to take a picture of us from above, well, she got what she deserved:

My human has been postponing this post for too long now: the thank yous to furriends for awards and other nice attentions.
I am very very VERY late in thanking our furriends Mollie and Alfie for creating a great Halloween costume for me. I know Halloween is over but I still want to thank my furriends and show you what they did:

Now for the awards… I am even more late in accepting them so I hope you won’t be too mad at me. I will bend the rules just a little. Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks:
=^.^= to our humans, when they deserve it
=^.^= to the humans who produce the Greenies
=^.^= to our furriends for visiting our bloggies and for writing bloggies, too
It is also a time when humans give thanks (that’s when we have to be careful because they tend to give extra cuddles and kisses).
And of course, it is a time to relax with our family…
…and to enjoy a lavish (VBP) meal!

Finally here is the result of our little contest launched on Sunday!
You had to tell me what you were seeing on the picture. I asked you to tell me what was going on, who you were seeing, what you were seeing.
The correct answer was Kitshka’s paw trying to reach for a Greenie (treat was a fine answer). When my human did the Halloween pictures, she had to lock Kitshka in the humans’ bedroom if she hoped to take a pic of me getting to the Greenies in the plastic pumpkin. In the process, a Greenie fell on the floor and Kitshka was furiously trying to get to it from under the door. No food is safe when Kitshka is around!
So, my human put all the names of furriends who said in the comment that it was Kitshka’s paw trying to reach for a treat and then… then she tried to have us draw a winner. (keep reading to have the name of the winner)
Are these treats?
Nope. Then, not interested.
Kitshka to the rescue…
Are these treats?
Kitshka: These aren’t treats!
Texas: I’m outta here!
Then, the human had the brightest idea in years: she put Greenies inside the box with all the names, in the hope that we would draw a name while trying to get a Greenie. But we’re smarter than that. We just ate the Greenies.
(Milou, whose paws you can see on this last picture, wasn’t quick enough to get a Greenie from the box)
So, in a last effort, my human just put all the papers on the floor hoping Kitshka would choose one. And she did!

Hiya Furriends!
I am glad because yesterday my human’s Mom arrived to stay with us for Thanksgiving. She’s coming from France!
I like her very much: she used to be my cat sitter in France and I spent some time with her. Also she was easier to train than my human ;-)
On top of that, my American furriends all know next week is Thanksgiving. In order to say thank you to all my readers, I will have one game with a secret prize (today) and one giveaway next month!
I really enjoy blogging and I hope you enjoy reading about little not-so-old me and my fur family! I know I like to read your reactions in the comments!
Also I won some prizes on furriends’ bloggies so I want to reciprocate (VBP). And soon it will be Christmas!

I had already prepared my post when I read this post at the Conscious Cat. The post was about humans building cat walls for their kitties. I thought that was very nice of them. Sometimes we kitties build our own stuff too!

Hiya furriends!
Another 1+ week without being able to blog or read your bloggies… I know my human was trying her best, but since she’s not a kitty, her best just wasn’t enough. Sigh. Sorry.
I have many awards to acknowledge and share, and many furriends to thank. I will be doing this in the days to come, probably one at a time.
In the meantime, here are some warming (I hope!) pictures for those who are in cold areas or (still :-/) without electricity (one of my humans’ friends in CT just got his electricity and Internet back and we know some still haven’t).
[My human is saying that it is stupid since they can’t see the pics if they don’t have electricity. Duh! I know, human! But I’m sending warm thoughts and purrs!]
After this very pointless, human interruption, here are the pics. Yeah, I didn’t looked pleased on the pics because Kitshka and I were having the bestest of naps and my human woke us up with her awwwwwwwws! Do humans and interrupting kitties go together, you think?

Humans say we are creatures of habits. But they are creatures of predictability!
They had prepared some treats for Halloween to give to kids. I don’t know whether that was because of Sandy (I heard the humans say 90% of our town had lost power! Talk about a Ceiling Cat-blessed home we have!) but no kid came. Not a single one. My human was kind of sad… not that she would have to eat the candy herself, but that possibly kids couldn’t have as much fun this year.
So a huge plastic pumpkin, 3 or 4 times the size of Milou’s heads, and full of human treats, was still waiting next to the door when my human suddenly, yesterday evening, just before going to sleep, had the most stupid idea ever. She emptied the plastic pumpkin and, guess what?
Yep. She put Greenies in the plastic pumpkin.
Of course Milou fell for it.
So did Kitshka (with Milou waiting in line for a second round).
Little not-so-old me couldn’t be bothered to enter my head in the pumpkin for a couple of Greenies so that my human could take a picture. I cannot be bought for a couple of Greenies! Now if she had put fresh salmon in there… No, no, no! I get my Greenies on my terms!
Furriends: I am back to reading your bloggies. No seriously. So I’ll see you in a short while!
